Stock was very well finished nice and heavy but the buffer tube is made of thin aluminum comes with 2 buffer tubes one I'm guess is for an airsoft gun the other looks to be for a real steel but it's too small indiameter. Even if it did screw in I wouldn't use it. I bought a rock Rivers arms pistol buffer tube and it works just fine with this stock. Had to use a bolt and nut to attatch it to the tube since it bolts to the back of the tube like an a2 rifle stock. No big deal use the provided bolt and nut that comes with the stock. So even after paying 60$ for the stock and 30$ for the tube it's still 100$ cheaper than magpul. Other than that the stock is a well made nice looking piece
